“Fall back, spring forward,” adjust the clock, adjust the body—it’s all part of the yearly ritual. But as I age, the time between the events seems shorter and shorter. I had just gotten used to “falling back” when I had to “spring forward,” or I have sprung back and it’s now time to fall forward? Either way, we have to deal with time and seasons.
For every season of life, we must make adjustments. Buddy Harrison always taught that there would be seasons of plenty and season of lean. Those who thrive during the lean times have learned to put something away during the seasons of plenty. Preparation prevents poor performance.
We must learn to adjust to the seasons of life, for time goes on and life moves. As we learn how to adapt, we will grow, mature, and be prepared for the next season.
As you read the articles this month, my prayer is that you will choose to press on and move into the promises of God for your life.
